Meet the book lovers behind the festival

Lane Jacobson

I’m a recent addition to Sisters Country and took ownership of Paulina Springs Books in late 2018. I’ve worked in independent bookstores for the last decade and love the sense of community that I’ve found at both the bookstore and in Sisters. It is Sisters’ sense of community and love of the arts that led me to team up with Mac and Ann to launch the Sisters Festival of Books.

Ann Richardson

I’ve dedicated almost 20 years to helping Sisters non-profits produce successful events that benefit our community. I was thrilled when Lane asked me to help launch the Sisters Festival of Books. This festival will be another distinctive approach to honoring the arts in Sisters. I feel so lucky to be in a community that values artistic gifts and celebrates them with such vigor!

Along with Lane and Ann I am honored to be a part of the Sisters Festival of Books! Sisters is a community of readers, writers, artists and book lovers-we are excited to bring the Sisters Festival of Books to our community. I have been active in our community for 15 years and have loved every moment being involved in our special place. Our venue has something for every interest and age group...we look forward to seeing you at the Festival October 18,19 and 20th, 2019.
